Overview

Supply rental of four containers of various configurations for 24 months (2 years) at Iziko Museums' site (Klein Drakenstein Paarl / Iziko Mandela Prison House; Cape Town address also noted). Service providers with container rental and on-site installation capabilities (including electrical, water connections, and commissioning) should bid; a mandatory site visit is required.

Requirements

• Four containers: 1 tuck shop container (sliding doors, weather-access point, water and electricity access) and 3 office containers (two with hand basin/water connection), each about 6m x 3m.
• Delivery to site, full installation/setup including electrical connection; containers to include air conditioning, distribution board, internal lighting, two plug points minimum, insulation, external power/water hookup points; plan for on-site electrician (~R20k) and plumber (~R20k) at Iziko discretion.
• Cancellation notice of 2 months.
• Pricing must be monthly rental rate, inclusive of VAT; include all costs (delivery, installation, etc.).
• Administrative/compliance: Central Supplier Database (CSD) details, tax status/pin, COIDA, SBD 4 and SBD 6.1, BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, company profile, five client references (not older than 5 years).
• Procurement rules: 80/20 preference scoring (80 price, 20 specific goals); HDI/BBEE disclosure with points for black ownership (e.g., 50%+ black ownership = 20 points).

How to Apply

• Site visit: 18 August 2026 at 11:00 (mandatory).

• Documents to submit (attach with RFQ): detailed pricing structure on letterhead; signed RFQ; CSD report with supplier number and tax pin; tax certificate/pin; COIDA letter/certificate; SBD 4 and SBD 6.1; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; company profile; five reference letters.
• Pricing: complete the Pricing Schedule with total bid price inclusive of VAT; indicate delivery period in weeks after order.
