REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) FOR APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR MAINTENANCE, SERVICING, PUMPING, CLEANING AND JETTING OF SEPTIC TANKS FOR A PERIOD OF 5 MONTHS IN WESTERN CAPE REGION

Overview

RFQ for appointment of service providers for maintenance, servicing, pumping, cleaning and jetting of septic tanks in the Western Cape region for five months. PRASA seeks bidders with liquid-waste removal capabilities (e.g., 10,000 L honey-sucker trucks and jetting equipment) to perform weekly/monthly pumping, cleaning and disposal at certified sites, across multiple PRASA facilities in the Western Cape.

Requirements

• Price Schedule submission on official forms and pricing in the prescribed format.
• Proof of registration for liquid waste removal with City of Cape Town.
• Attendance certificate for compulsory briefing and attendance register.
• Proof of ownership or rental of a 10,000 L honey-sucker truck and a jetting machine (with registration papers).
• Valid COIDA good standing letter.
• SARS PIN and CSD number (or CSD registration if no PIN).
• Completion of all RFQ documentation and sign-off on closing/submission register.
• Proof of bank account and company registration documents; certified IDs of owners.
• Proof of offices/workshops in the Western Cape region.
• Compliance with general procurement rules and PRASA terms.

• Compulsory briefing: 28 October 2026 at 10:00, Cape Town Station (Shosholoza Mely waiting area); respondents to provide own transportation/accommodation; late arrivals not allowed (see RFQ for details).
• Closing date: 5 November 2026 at 12:00. Submissions to: PRASA Tender Drop Off Office, 3 Old Marine Drive, Cape Town.
• Submission method: on official forms or as prescribed; sealed envelope; no late submissions.
