Overview

Procurement of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHSE) Agent Services for the supply, installation, rehabilitation of Arial Optical Fibre Network in Gauteng region at PRASA signalling rooms, depots, electrical, ticket office and PRASA buildings, on an as-and-when-required basis. Bidders should be OHSE professionals with PrCHSA and PrCHSO credentials, SACPCMP registration, SAQA-aligned qualifications, and relevant construction experience, plus compliance with B-BBEE, tax, and CSD/SARS requirements.

Requirements

• PrCHSA and PrCHSO with SACPCMP registration; 3 years construction experience.
• Qualifications SAQA-approved for local or SA-recognized levels; directors with SHE training (≥50%).
• CVs for both Construction Health & Safety Agent and Officer; reference letters for OHSE projects > R350k.
• Stage 1B: complete RFQ documents, valid SARS PIN, CSD registration (if applicable).
• Compliance with tax and public procurement regimes; no service of state disqualifications.
• Attendance at compulsory briefing (07 July 2026) and site visit; PPE required during site visit.

• Briefing/site visit: compulsory briefing 2026-07-07 12:00 at Centurion PRASA Station; site visit follows.
• Documents to submit: use official bid forms; include Annexure A (Scope of Services) and Annexure B (Bill of Quantities) as applicable.
• Registrations: CSD or SARS PIN (per RFQ Section 2); ensure tax/compliance requirements.
• Evaluation: Stage 1 mandatory compliance (OHSE qualifications and admin); Stage 2 technical/functional (minimum 60% threshold); Stage 3 price and specific goals (80/20 scoring; price up to 80 points, goals up to 20).
• Validity: 60 working days; bids may be extended as needed.
