Overview

RFQ for supply and delivery of PPE (once-off) to PRASA, including mask, gloves, goggles, and related safety gear. Bidders should be PPE suppliers with capacity to deliver in bulk to Johannesburg (Braamfontein area) and comply with PRASA procurement rules. The bid is evaluated under PPPFA 2022 with a fixed price and specific-goals preference. Delivery/collection involves hand delivery to Braamfontein; submission closes 11 Sept 2026 at 10:00 CAT. Requirements

• Compliance with tax and supplier verification: SARS PIN, Tax Compliance Status, CSD registration; COIDA good standing.
• Complete required forms: Pricing and Delivery Schedule, BOQ/Pricing Schedule, RFQ/SBD forms; signed authority.
• Evidence for specific goals: Black Youth status and 51% Black-owned EME/QSE (with supporting documents).
• No state-employed individual bidders; separate TCS for consortia/sub-contractors; CSD number if no TCS.
• Pricing must be in ZAR, fixed, inclusive of taxes; 90 working days validity; adherence to GCC and PPPFA.
• Returnable documents must be submitted by closing time; responses in sealed envelopes; no email/fax submissions.
• Evaluation: Stage 1 compliance; Stage 2 technical ≥60%; Stage 3 price (80) and specific goals (20).

How to Apply

• Deadline: 11 September 2026, 10:00 CAT; late bids not accepted. Submit by hand to Ground Floor Shosholoza Meyl Junction, Cnr Leyds and Simmonds Street, Braamfontein (see RFQ).
• Submission method: Hand delivery in a sealed envelope; no email/fax submissions.
• Documents to submit: Completed Pricing/Delivery Schedule (Section 4), BOQ/Pricing Schedule (Section 10), RFQ/Bid documents including SBD forms, COIDA Good Standing, SARS PIN, CSD details.
• Registrations: CSD registration required; SARS PIN; tax compliance; COIDA.
• Briefing: Section 8 indicates a compulsory RFQ briefing exists, but date/venue are not shown here.
