Overview

PRASA seeks to a supply and delivery of special shoes (Train Operations Special Boots) for the Braamfontein area. Bidders should have PPE manufacturing or distribution capability, with SABS/SANS certificates, data sheets, warranty and post-delivery support, and the ability to provide pre-production samples and PPE technical documentation (RFQ SPECIAL BOOTS.pdf).

Requirements

• Mandatory documentation: Completed Pricing and Delivery Schedule Form, Completed BOQ/Pricing Schedule, signed RFQ and SBD forms, COIDA Letter of Good Standing, SARS PIN, CSD registration; JV/consortium agreements where applicable.
• Regulatory/compliance: Tax/compliance status, CSD registration (or proof), no service-of-state conflicts.
• PPE-specific: PPE Technical Assessment Sheet, PPE samples, SABS/SANS certificates, material certificates, data sheets; pre-production sample process and inspection evidence.
• Commercial: Warranty (min 1 year), lead time and delivery commitments, payment terms (PRASA: net 30 days on correct invoice); rejection and penalties for non-conforming deliveries.
• Preference: 80/20 pricing with specific goals (10 points for Black Youth ownership; 10 points for 51% Black-owned EME/QSE) and related evidence.

• Documents to submit: Pricing/Delivery Schedule, BOQ/Pricing Schedule, RFQ/SBDs, COIDA, SARS PIN, CSD number, JV documents if any, PPE technical docs, data sheets, certificates, and pre-production samples (RFQ SPECIAL BOOTS.pdf).
• Briefing/site inspection: Compulsory RFQ briefing attendance required (details in Annexure A); location at the same Braamfontein site.
