Overview

RFQ for the appointment of a service provider for underground optical fiber installation training for PRASA’s Telecoms Department, Gauteng region. Bidders should be training providers accredited with MiCTSETA or QCTO, or offering a vendor-proprietary system for Underground Fiber training, and must meet PRASA’s tax and supplier registration requirements.

Requirements

• Accredited training provider: MiCTSETA or QCTO, or vendor proprietary system for Underground Fiber training.
• Complete Pricing and Delivery Schedule Form and BOQ/Pricing Schedule (Section 4/Section 10).
• Signed RFQ documents and Standard Bid Documents (SBD) forms.
• Letter of Good Standing: COIDA.
• SARS PIN (Tax compliance) and/or tax compliance status; submit TCS PIN or CSD number.
• If bidding as a joint venture/consortium/subcontractor, each party must submit separate TCS/CSD.
• CSD registration number if no TCS PIN.
• No bids from persons in the service of the state.
• Technical functionality minimum threshold: 70% (Stage 2), plus organizational experience and training experience scoring.

• Submission method: sealed bid in official forms; two copies if required by PRASA.
• Documents to submit: Pricing and Delivery Schedule; BOQ/Pricing Schedule; Accreditation letter/certification; COIDA good standing; SARS PIN; CSD number; RFQ/SBD forms; any JV agreements.
• Pre-qualifications: Tax compliance status (TCS PIN or CSD); supplier registration on CSD if applicable.
