Overview

RFQ to appoint a service provider to deliver comprehensive CCTV training, including installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of CCTV systems for PRASA in the Gauteng region. Training providers should be accredited and capable of delivering a hands-on program for about 12 learners over 4–5 days, with theory, practicals, assessments, and a certificate on completion.

Who should bid: registered, accredited CCTV training providers (PSIRA or SAIDSA accreditation or vendor-led CCTV training system), with demonstrated CCTV project/training experience and a Black-owned/EME/QSE eligibility pathway if claiming specific goals. Requirements

• Accredited CCTV training provider; accreditation letter or vendor training certification required.
• Must submit Section 4 Pricing and Delivery Schedule and Section 10 BOQ/Pricing; prices in Rand, fixed, inclusive of taxes.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or CSD registration; COIDA good standing; separate TCS for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Complete RFQ documents and all declarations; include JV/Consortium agreements if applicable.
• Specific goals preferences apply (e.g., Black Women-owned 10 pts; Black Owned 10 pts) with supporting evidence (e.g., BBBEE documents).
• Technical threshold: minimum 70% in Stage 2 (compliance to specification and organizational experience).
• Delivery terms: earliest possible delivery; PRASA General Conditions apply (Section 5).

How to Apply

• Closing date/time: 01 September 2026 at 10:00. Hand-deliver to Ground Floor Shosholoza Meyl Junction, Cnr Leyds and Simmonds Street, Braamfontein; no late bids, no email/fax.
• Submissions to include: Completed Pricing and Delivery Schedule (Section 4), Completed BOQ/Pricing (Section 10), RFQ documents and SBD forms, COIDA Letter, SARS PIN or CSD number, JV/Partnership agreements if any, and SBD4 disclosure.
• Registrations: CSD registration (or SARS-PIN as applicable).
• Briefing: RFQ briefing attendance is documented as N/A in the attached sections.
• Documents to obtain: RFQ package (RFQ - CCTV INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE TRAINING.pdf) or from the National Treasury e-tender portal.
• Evaluation: Compliance (Stage 1), Technical/Functionality (min 70%), Price and Specific Goals (80/20). See Annex for specific goal evidence requirements.
• Delivery/Performance: Pricing must reflect a fixed price; delivery period to be stated; contract subject to PRASA General Conditions of Purchase.
