Overview

RFQ to appoint a supplier to supply and deliver a service air compressor & pipes. Eligible bidders are suppliers with experience in air compressor services and piping repairs, able to supply and deliver at PRASA sites in Johannesburg. Key dates: mandatory briefing 31 Aug 2026, closing 04 Sep 2026 at 11:00. Delivery location: CNR FUEL & HARMONY ROAD, Coronationville. Requirements

• Tax and supplier status: valid SARS PIN/TCS for tax compliance; CSD registration; where applicable, separate TCS/CSD for each consortium member; proof may be required.
• Returnable documents: quotation on company letterhead; completed RFP documentation; CSD number; SARS PIN; B-BBEE evidence (Level 1 or 2) or affidavit; IDs for owners if claiming specific goals.
• Specific goals: 80/20 preference system with 20 points for goals; evidence of at least B-BBEE Level 1 or 2 and at least 51% ownership by black women.
• Compliance and process: bids sealed and delivered by the deadline; use official forms; PRASA general conditions apply; funding contingency applies.
• Evaluation: Stage 1A mandatory requirements; Stage 1B additional mandatory items; Stage 2 price (80 points) and specific goals (20 points).

• Delivery period: bidder must state earliest possible delivery; actual delivery within the period stated in the order. (Section 5)
• Additional: funding is contingent; award subject to budget allocation; ongoing communications on funding status.
