Overview

RFQ to appoint a service provider to supply and deliver professional train and bus driver uniforms for PRASA for a period of two months. Bidders should be able to manufacture and deliver branded uniforms (including embroidery) in specified sizes/styles, with experience in the transportation sector and compliance with South African procurement requirements (BBBEE, tax, OH&S, CSD, etc.).

Requirements

• Stage 1A mandatory requirements (e.g., Consumer Protection Act recall policy).
• Stage 1B mandatory documents:
  • Completion of ALL RFP documentation (including declarations)
  • Original/certified B-BBEE certificate (SANAS) or affidavit
  • COIDA/Letter of Good Standing
  • Valid Tax Clearance or SARS PIN (or company registration docs)
  • Certified directors’ IDs (recent)
  • CSD supplier registration number
  • OH&S compliance
  • Tick sheet indicating regional supply
• Stage 2: Shortlisted bidders must submit and present samples.
• Stage 3: Pricing and specific goals; evaluation uses 80 points for price and 20 for specific goals; total 100.
