Overview

The RFQ seeks the appointment of a supplier for supply, delivery and maintenance of Mercedes Benz Bus Engine Protection Devices on an as-and-when-required basis - National. (See attached document RFQ PRASA CITYTOCITY ENGINEPRO052026.pdf)

• The scope covers up to an estimated 20 new devices this year and 40 maintenance events, over a three-year horizon. The supplier must provide an engine protection device with real-time monitoring and protective actions, plus ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

• Site visit: Site Visit Evaluation (Stage 3) included in scoring; depot visits may be required to assess machines/products (locations: Pretoria, Cape Town, JNB).
• Warranty: 1-year warranty; liability and indemnity provisions apply.
