Overview

The RFQ seeks to appoint qualified ICT training service providers to deliver specialized ICT training programs for PRASA employees in the Western Cape. Bidders should be registered SDPs with MICT SETA (or relevant ETQA), able to provide accredited facilitators, instructor‑led training (virtual or in‑person), practical labs, assessments, and certification prep, with a national footprint and a Cape Town training venue. A compulsory briefing is scheduled (20 Aug 2026, via Teams).

Requirements

• Accredited SDP with MICT SETA (or relevant ETQA); provide curriculum mapping showing SAQA‑aligned unit standards for courses 1–5 and 7–9 (courses 1–5 and 7–9 require SAQA alignment; Course 6 requires SAQA NLRD registration and formal assessment against unit standard 114974).
• Experienced, certified facilitators; training materials aligned to current industry standards; schedules created in consultation with PRASA.
• Delivery of instructor‑led training, with official manuals, practical labs, assessments, certification prep, attendance registers, and progress reports; certificates issued on completion.
• Venue in Cape Town; reliable virtual platforms if online training is used; catering for the duration as applicable.
• National footprint capable of delivering similar programs; evidence of prior delivery (minimum three letters of appointment/reference letters).
• Stage 1B documents: Letter of Good Standing (COIDA), SARS PIN, CSD number or report; completed RFQ docs; briefing session attendance certificate; bank account proof; company registration; IDs of owners; JV/consortium arrangements if applicable.
• Stage 1C/Scoring: optional documents (e.g., BBEE certificate) may be submitted for scoring.

How to Apply

• Access and complete the RFQ documents (RFQ Document - ICT Training 10372091 (Final).pdf) and submit a sealed bid by 27 August 2026, 12:00 (PRASA Tender Drop Off Office, 3 Old Marine Drive, Cape Town).
• Use the official bid forms; pricing must be on the provided Pricing Schedule (Section 4).
• Include tax compliance documents (SARS PIN or TCS), CSD details, COIDA, and all mandatory returnable documents; include the Briefing Session Attendance Certificate (Section 8).
• Provide evidence of previous similar accredited training (minimum three letters).
• Briefing: compulsory on 20 August 2026 at 10:00 (Microsoft Teams) – details in the RFQ document.
• If applicable, note that contract would be governed by PRASA General Conditions of Purchase and all statutory requirements.
