Requirements

• Mandatory site visit before award to verify bidder’s workshop equipment (see 10374131 10373383 RFQ).
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN and ensure tax status; may supply a TCS certificate or CSD number if no TCS PIN (SCM_2024).
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and tax/compliance proof; separate TCS for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Stage 1A mandatory documents: quotation on company letterhead; RMI/MIWA certificate valid on submission (SCM_2024).
• Stage 1B other mandatory requirements: SARS PIN, complete ALL RFP docs, CSD number, certified IDs of directors (SCM_2024).
• Specific goals: BBEE level and ownership proofs (e.g., at least level 1–2 BBEE; 51% black women ownership) with supporting documents (SCM_2024).
• Compliance with PRASA General Conditions of Purchase and related legal safeguards (e.g., funding contingency and contract terms) (SCM_2024).
