Overview

Procurement of Working at Heights training services to explain and perform fall arrest techniques, aligned with SAQA Unit Standard ID 229998. PRASA invites training providers to bid, targeting SAQA accreditation, SETA accreditation for Assessors/Facilitators/Moderators, and proven ability to deliver a 4-day course to groups (up to 12 candidates per module) as detailed in the pricing schedule.

Requirements

• Mandatory Stage 1A: valid SAQA accreditation for Unit Standard ID 229998; valid SETA accreditation for Assessor/Facilitator/Moderator; complete pricing schedule; three signed client reference letters confirming 3 years’ Working at Heights training (client letterhead, duration, contact details).
• Stage 1B: valid SARS PIN; full completion of all RFP documentation; CSD supplier registration number; signed Joint Venture/Consortium/Subcontract Agreement (leading bidder indicated).
• Pricing: all prices in Rand, fixed price, inclusive of taxes.
• Evaluation: 80 points for price, 20 for specific goals (BBEE and rural ownership evidence provided).
• Specific goals: 10 points for BBEE Level 2+, 10 points for rural ownership evidence (evidence required).
• Delivery: earliest possible delivery; 60 working days validity for bid response; compliance with PRASA General Conditions of Purchase.
