Requirements

• Compliance and documentation: PPPFA/GCC adherence; completion of all RFP documentation; returnable documents as specified (mandatory 1A/1B items).
• Tax and supplier registration: SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or Central Supplier Database (CSD) number; ensure COIDA Good Standing if applicable; five catering references; CSD number if no TCS.
• Qualifications and references: Proof of health/food-safety where required; catering experience evidenced by five reference letters; briefing session form if applicable.
• Additional governance: SBD4 disclosures (PEP/PIP declarations); adherence to sector-specific rules; willingness to conform to PRASA’s terms including funding contingency.
• Evaluation criteria: Stage 1 compliance, Stage 2 technical/functional minimum 60%, Stage 3 price (80) and specific goals (20). Reference to B-BBEE and ownership status as part of specific-goals scoring.
