Overview

The RFQ is for the supply and delivery of consumables and various activity materials for Iziko Museums South Africa. Bidders should be experienced suppliers of educational materials and craft consumables, capable of delivering to Iziko’s Cape Town address, and able to meet CSD, tax, and BBEE/compliance requirements; pricing must be provided as per the Pricing Schedule in the attached RFQ document (Iziko RFQ for MATERIALS Final.pdf).

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with supplier number and tax status verification.
• Valid Tax Clearance Certificate/Tax PIN.
• Valid BBEEE certificate or sworn affidavit of BBEEE status.
• Completed RFQ, plus SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms.
• Company profile with minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Ability to supply the specified items list (consumables and activity materials) and present a detailed, VAT-inclusive pricing schedule.
• Compliance with Iziko’s procurement rules and potential preference scoring under the 80/20 system (HDI and BBEEE considerations).

• Documents to submit (per Annexure/administrative requirements): CSD report, Tax PIN, BBEEE certificate or sworn affidavit, signed RFQ, SBD 4 and SBD 6.1, company profile, and a detailed pricing structure on company letterhead (VAT included) with a 90-day quotation validity.
• Pricing and item details: complete Pricing Schedule in the RFQ (No. Description, Quantity, Unit Price, Total Price) and a total with VAT; ensure delivery period is indicated (weeks after order) in the proposal.
