Overview

PRASA Western Cape Region invites quotations for the supply and delivery of ICT consumables and related accessories (printer components, peripherals, networking accessories, and power protection devices). Eligible bidders should be able to supply items listed (e.g., Argox IX4-250 printheads and cutters, label tape, wireless mice, USB‑to‑Ethernet cables, Visual Fault Locator, surge protectors, 9V batteries, laptop cooling pads) and deliver to the Western Cape. RFQ number 10372038 closes 13 August 2026; a compulsory briefing is on 5 August 2026 at 10:00 at the ICT Boardroom, 3 Old Marine Drive, Cape Town.

Requirements

• Mandatory documentation and compliance (submit on official forms):
  • Price Schedule (Section 10) and Price in words (Section 4)
  • Letter of Good Standing (COIDA); SARS PIN; Central Supplier Database (CSD) number
  • Completion of all RFQ documentation (including declarations); Briefing Session attendance certificate
  • Proof of bank account; Company registration documents; JV/consortium documents if applicable
  • Proof of offices/warehouse in Western Cape; two appointment letters showing prior supply
• Tax and supplier status: must be tax compliant; provide SARS PIN or CSD number; self‑register on CSD if not already; no state employees or closely related entities allowed
• Returnable documents: mandatory items must be returned; non‑submission may disqualify
• Evaluation: 80 points for price, 20 for specific goals (BBEE level 2 or 51% Black-Owned EME)
• Other: PEP/PIP disclosures may be required; comply with PRASA General Conditions of Purchase and related procurement rules
