Overview

This RFQ seeks a SANAS-accredited Inspection Authority to conduct hygiene surveys and health risk assessments across the KwaZulu-Natal region on a one-off basis. Bidders should be able to operate within a 40 km radius of PRASA KZN regional office, have DOEL approval, and deliver electronic and hard-copy reports within a month after fieldwork.

Requirements

• SANAS accreditation as an Inspection Authority for Occupational Health and Hygiene.
• DOEL (Department of Employment and Labour) approval as an Inspection Authority.
• Service provider located within 40 km of PRASA KZN regional office.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN, or CSD registration; separate TCS for consortia.
• Returnable/mandatory documents (e.g., briefing attendance, declarations, COIDA good standing, tax status, CSD number).
• Compliance with PRASA General Conditions of Purchase and applicable procurement regulations.
• Mandatory briefing attendance at 10:00 on 04 August 2026 (venue detail in RFQ).
