Overview

Procurement of a qualified service provider to facilitate a Track Master training program for PRASA employees for 12 months. Bidders should be training providers with QCTO accreditation for Railway Track Master and meet tax, supplier database, and local ownership/localisation requirements as outlined in the RFQ (MAster RFQ For TRACK MASTER TRAINING 15.07.2026.pdf).

Requirements

• Valid QCTO accreditation for Railway Track Master (SAQA ID 119662) and the Accreditation curriculum 734212-000 (proof required) (MAster RFQ For TRACK MASTER TRAINING 15.07.2026.pdf).
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS status (or CSD number if no TCS); separate TCS for each JV/consortium member; compliance otherwise mandatory.

• B-BBEE: Level 1 (5 points) and evidence of 51% Black Ownership plus localisation proof; evidence via B-BBEE certificate/affidavit and municipal documentation (within eThekwini or within KZN) (Table of specific goals) (MAster RFQ...).
• Capability to deliver Track Master training aligned to the NQF framework and to support external assessment by QCTO; external assessors must have recognized qualification and at least 5 years’ experience (Scope of Works in RFQ) (MAster RFQ...).
