REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) TO APPOINT A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR ONCE-OFF PROFESSIONAL MARKING, INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF HIKING TRAILS AT OLIEWENHUIS ART MUSEUM

Overview

A service provider is sought to undertake a one-off professional marking, inspection and maintenance of hiking trails at Oliewenhuis Art Museum. The scope includes clearly marking trails, neatening paths, securing/rebuilding steps, and creating four resting spots with benches to improve safety and visitor experience. Applicants should have demonstrable trail-marking, trail development or maintenance experience and relevant outdoor recreation qualifications.

Requirements

• Fully completed, signed SBD4 form
• Attend compulsory briefing (03 November 2026, 10:00)
• Complete compulsory price schedule (6.5)
• Submit CV with relevant trail-related experience and qualification in outdoor recreation, nature conservation, environmental management, trail construction, tourism, or related field
• Provide at least one reference letter on client letterhead with contact details
• Registered on CSD; include CSD supplier report
• Active SA company; attach CIPC registration documents
• Tax compliant; attach SARS tax pin
• Optional: BBBEE certificate or signed BBBEE declaration for preferential scoring
