Overview

SAFCOL seeks to supply and deliver Proto firefighting teams (proto teams) and related lookouts/tender support for Jessievale Plantation over a 2-month window. Bidders should be capable of veld-fire firefighting, initial attack, driver-led teams, and wear PPE; also must meet regulatory and supplier pre-qualification requirements (SBDs, SANAS-certified B-BBEE or sworn affidavit, tax clearance, CSD registration, ID copies of directors, etc.).

Requirements

• Complete RFQ in full on company letterhead; submit by email.
• B-BBEE: SANAS-accredited certificate or EME/QSE sworn affidavit.
• Tax clearance and CSD registration (register within 7 days of award if not already).
• SBD forms fully signed and returned; JV requires consolidated B-BBEE.
• Returnable documents: tax clearance, BBBEE/SANAS or sworn affidavit, CSD/MAAA, ID copies of directors.
• Safety: compliant safety plan or NOSA/ISO 45001 certification; 13 safety plan requirements or equivalent accreditation.
• Mandatory insurance: Public liability (amount per version; see Phase 2 in doc) and proof of funding ability (bank statement or facility).
• Resources: proven ability to supply double-cab 4x4 vehicles and 500 L bakkie sakkies; named team compositions and PPE.
• Compliance/disqualification: tax non-compliance, fraudulent info, restricted supplier list, or non-conformity with specs.

How to Apply

• Submission method: email quotations to the RFQ address listed in the applicable RFQ document (e.g., RFQCentralNSP@safcol.co.za or RFQNorth@safcol.co.za). Use the RFQ number and description in the subject line.
• Documents to submit: fully completed RFQ, official quotation on letterhead, latest tax clearance, SANAS B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD/MAAA, ID copies of company directors.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: register with CSD if not yet; provide COID good standing; provide proof of public liability insurance (minimum as per version).
• Briefing session: none required (compulsory briefing indicated as None in the RFQ).
