Overview

Procurement is for design, manufacture and supply of a 4-inch screw conveyor assembly for the PTFE Filter Destruction Project, per ENS-MES-SPE-0055. Delivered to Necsa Pelindaba, with FAT/SAT testing; suitable bidders include mechanical engineering and fabrication specialists with ISO 9001 quality management and proven experience in hoppers and screw feeders.

Requirements

• ISO 9001:2015 (or latest) QMS certified for design/manufacture of hoppers and screw feeders
• Minimum five years’ experience in design and manufacture of hoppers and screw feeders
• Provide list of organizations where similar equipment was supplied (reference letters)
• Provide detailed general arrangement, fabrication and assembly drawings for approval prior to manufacture
• Design, fabricate and deliver a 4 inch ID screw conveyor (C81009) with 4 inch RF class 150 inlet/outlet flanges
• Provide VSD electrical motor assembly; materials of construction to be chosen by supplier ( Necsa preferred: mild steel)
• Develop a supplier internal quality control plan for fabrication/assembly
• Source materials per specification; provide critical spares for commissioning/operation
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at supplier facility and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) on site at Necsa Pelindaba
• Demonstrate suitability with data sheets and make/model details; meet 80–120 kg/h feed, 0.66 kg/L heap density, ~22 kW motor

• Submissions must include Tax Clearance Certificate (SARS pin), Declaration of Interest (SBD 4), B-BBEE certificate or EME affidavit, COID Good Standing (where applicable), and any other requested documents
• Evaluation: Phase 1 technical/functionality (max 100 points; require >=80 to proceed); Phase 2 80/20 PPPFA with price and B-BBEE considerations
• Include pricing (fixed, all taxes included) with freight, delivery, insurance, and all disbursements; provide critical spares; specify after-sales support
• Clarifications: in writing to the contact above; avoid contacting Necsa staff outside the stated channel; official purchase order required; Necsa reserves rights to amend or cancel
