REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FROM SUITABLE SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THE DESIGN, SUPPLY, CUSTOMISATION AND DELIVERY OF 20 A5 ACRYLIC QR CODE SIGNS FOR TRADE & INVESTMENT KWAZULU-NATAL

Overview

RFQ for the design, supply, customisation and delivery of 20 A5 acrylic QR code signs for Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN). Bidders should have capabilities in branding/graphic design, acrylic signage production, QR-code generation and testing, and delivery to Durban, with compliance to SA public procurement rules (CSD/SARS PIN, POPIA) and TIKZN branding standards.

Requirements

• Proof of registration on CSD or SARS PIN; SBD4, SBD1, POPIA consent, SBD6.1; tax compliance (CSD/MAAA or TCS).
• Design and produce 20 customised A5 acrylic QR code signs per TIKZN branding; provide digital proof/mock-up for approval; QR codes must be functional and testable; signs must be durable and professionally finished with logos and social handles as directed.
• Include all costs in the quotation: design, production, printing, QR code generation, finishing, packaging, transportation and delivery.
• Delivery to Kingsmead Office Park, Durban 4001; packaging to prevent scratches and damage.
• Final layout/branding approval by TIKZN before production.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price vs specific goals; specific goals include Youth-Owned Enterprises (5 points) and promotion of enterprises in eThekwini (15 points).
• Compliance checks: PFMA/SMM requirements; tax verification via CSD/SARS.

• Pre-qualifications: CSD/SARS PIN; tax clearance verification; if applicable, TCS PIN; ensure compliance for consortia or joint ventures.
• Briefing: None compulsory.
