Requirements

• Established SA construction company; CIDB 2GB+ (or capable of registration within 21 days) and verification with CIDB/ECSA.
• Professional construction leadership: ECSA SACPCMP registration; CV of Construction Manager; minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Company must be active in SA; provide CIPC registration; COIDA good standing.
• Minimum 3 written client references (5+ years) on client letterhead; references must be verifiable and signed.
• Complete BOQ-based pricing; provide CIDB certificate; SBD forms (1, 2, 3.3, 4, 6.1, 8, 9) as specified.
• CSD registration; CSD Supplier Report.
• Health and safety: Health & Safety Plan, risk assessment, site safety officer, construction supervisor, and related compliance; provision for safety file.
• Insurance: Public liability cover of R500,000 from site handover to end of works (proof required before start).
• Local BBBEE optional/non-mandatory; non-compliance to compulsory requirements may disqualify, with tax-compliance grace period if applicable.
• JBCC Minor Works contractual framework and related preliminaries apply.
