Overview

Procurement is a short-term repair contract to fix broken and cracked concrete edges at King Phalo Airport (up to 6 months). Suitable for contractors with CIDB contractor grading 1 CE or higher and Civil/Construction capabilities to seal and repair concrete, plus compliance with tax, CIDB, and BBBEE requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB: contractor grading 1 CE or higher.
• Tax and registration: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD registration; provide proof (PIN, CSD No, or printed TCS).
• Returnable documents: complete official forms and provide required attachments (e.g., Form of Offer, SBDs, CIDB certificate, COIDA good standing, CSD, BBBEE documentation, CVs for key personnel, client references).
• Insurance: relevant insurance certificates as indicated in the contract data (APPENDIX 2); bidder to confirm coverage needs.
• Clarifications and communications: queries due by 08 June 2026 12:00; communications to be via the specified ACSA contact.
• Briefing/site visit: non-compulsory briefing on 01 June 2026; site inspection after briefing. Bring ID, safety boots, reflector vest.
• Submission rules: submissions to Acsarfq@airports.co.za; no CC/BCC of ACSA employees; use official tender forms; 84-day validity; bid ranges and pricing fixed for duration as per contract data.

How to Apply

• Obtain documents: tender documents available from 22 May 2026, free download from etenders.gov.za and ACSA Tender Bulletin site (RFQ 12113). See attached RFQ file (RFQ 12113 Apron Repairs at King Phalo Airport.pdf).
• Attend briefing: 01 June 2026 at King Phalo Airport, Administrator Office, 66 Settler’s Way, 1st Floor; site inspection immediately after.
• Prepare submissions: complete and sign required forms (C1–C2, T2 schedules), attach A1–A14 returnables; include CIDB certificate (B2), COIDA (B1), SARS PIN (B3), CSD (B5), BBBEE docs (C5), CVs (C6), project plan, and other documents listed in T2.
• Submit: email bid to Acsarfq@airports.co.za by 19 June 2026 at 14:00; use proper packaging and include Bid Ref 12113. Do not CC/BCC ACSA staff.
• Clarifications: deadline for queries 8 June 2026 at 12:00.
• Bid validity: 84 days (as per tender data).
