Overview

This RFQ seeks the supply and delivery of catering services for the Minister’s Induction with DFFE managers and public entities on 9 and 10 July 2026, including two days of breakfast, lunch, beverages and related service requirements. Bidders should be registered catering service providers with a Food Premises Certificate in the bidding company’s name, quoting on official letterhead with banking details, VAT where applicable, and a valid CSD/MAAA number. The event is to be delivered at Environment House, Pretoria, and bids are valid for 90 days from the closing date.

Requirements

• Food Premises Certificate (in the bidding company name) issued by the Municipality.
• Quotation on company letterhead; include VAT (where applicable), correct banking details, and RFQ number in email subject.
• Returnable documents: completed and signed SBDs, supplier quotation, CSD report.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or CSD number; ensure compliance status.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference points (price 80; specific goals 20); documents to claim specific goals (SBD6.1, medical certificate for disability if claimed, SANAS/CIPC B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, Ownership Certificate).
• Other: quotes must be submitted by the closing time; DFFE reserves rights to verify information and not award to the lowest bid.
