Provision of conference facilities for the 3rd Aquatic Resources and Blue Economy Conference (ARBEC III) in Nairobi, Kenya (non-consulting services). Requirements

• Open tender; bidders may be individuals or joint ventures (JV); JV members jointly and severally liable.
• Evidence of eligibility, qualifications, and conformity to tender requirements (Form of Tender, Activity Schedule, tender security, conformity documents).
• Tender security: KSh 100,000; required form as specified (cash, bank guarantee, or insured guarantee).
• Foreign bidders must meet 40% local inputs (national suppliers/subcontractors); provide documentary evidence.
• Tax/compliance: Kenyan tenderers must provide valid tax compliance; other environmental/sanctions requirements apply per ITT.
• Language: English; currency: Kenya Shillings; pages serialized; pre-tender meeting/site visit details in TDS.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 16 September 2026 at 10:00 (late tenders rejected). Questions/clarifications and optional pre-tender engagement per TDS.
• Submission method: both physical and electronic to supplies@kmfri.go.ke; paper copies may be deposited at KMFRI Headquarters (Mombasa) as detailed in the ITT.
• Documents to submit (non-exhaustive): Form of Tender; priced Activity Schedule; Tender Security or Declaration; JV agreement or intent; evidence of eligibility and qualifications; conformity documents; tax compliance evidence; any required prequalification information.
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: tax compliance certificate; foreign bidders’ local-content evidence; JV requirements as per ITT.
• Briefing/site visit: may be stated in the TDS; attendance is not mandatory, but minutes/clarifications will be shared.
