REQUEST FOR THE APPOINTMEMT OF A SUPPLIER TO SUPPLY AND INSTAL TWENTY-NINE (29) BIOMETRIC FINGERPRINT SCANNERS FOR NHBRC AND TO CONFIGURE 7 CCTV CAMERAS AT THE SUNNINGHILL OFFICE

Overview

The NHBRC intends to appoint a supplier to supply and install twenty-nine biometric fingerprint scanners for NHBRC and configure seven CCTV cameras at the Sunninghill office. Bidders with experience in biometric/security hardware installation, CCTV configuration and systems integration for office environments should consider bidding.

Requirements

• Mandatory briefing session; supplier must bring a competent person to evaluate the current biometrics system.
• Quotation to be submitted to victorm@nhbrc.org.za by 2026-10-30 11:00.
• Briefing session: 2026-10-21 11:00 at 27 Leeuwkop Road, Sandton, Sunninghill 2191 (in-person).
• Quotation validity: 90 days.
• Documents to submit include completed SBD forms: Preference Points (SBD 6.1) and Bidder’s Disclosure (SBD 4) (see attached: SBD FORMS 6.1_Updated.docx; SBD FORMS 4 new.docx).
• The contract uses Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 (80/20 or 90/10) with specific goal points; provide documentary proof as required.
