Overview

Procurement of maintenance, servicing and repair of three hydroboilers (7.5 L × 2 and 5 L × 1) for Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal. Suitable bidders are service providers qualified to service commercial hydroboil units, supply genuine or equivalent replacement parts, and comply with OH&S requirements.

Requirements

• Inspect, diagnose faults, service and fully repair the three hydroboilers; provide a detailed quotation with labour, parts, call-out, VAT, total, and estimated completion.
• Supply and fit replacement parts as needed; ensure units are fully operational and tested (temperature, flow, leaks) with demonstrated operation to TIKZN.
• Provide a minimum 6-month workmanship warranty and a manufacturer’s warranty on parts.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
• Submit a detailed quotation on company letterhead per the specification, including all requested disclosures and statutory forms.
• Administrative/compliance prerequisites: proof of CSD/SARS PIN, SBD4, SBD1, POPIA consent, and SBD6.1, plus any required CSD/MAAA numbers.
• Evaluation framework includes price (80/20 or 90/10) and specific goals (e.g., youth ownership and eThekwini locality) with required proofs.
