Requirements

• CIDB grading of 3ME or higher, valid at close of bid; CRS/SANAS requirements as applicable.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or CSD number; separate PINs for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Submit on official bid forms; comply with GCC/PPPFA and contract terms; no deviations unless in Schedule of Deviations.
• Functionality min 70/100 to progress to price/BBEE; criteria include: prior Diesel Generator assessment/repair experience (3–5+ references), project manager/site supervisor CV, relevant mechanical qualification (N6 or higher), and at least one qualified diesel mechanic with CV and trade certificates. All qualifications SAQA/CETA-accredited.
• Preference points: PPPFA 80/20 with specific BBEE and other goals; proof required.
• Insurance and risk requirements per contract data; site safety and access conditions.
