Overview

The University of Fort Hare is procuring sound, stage, lighting and truss and rigging services for the Mr. & Ms. UFH event at Alice Campus on 17 October 2026. The RFQ covers audio-visual equipment, stage build, lighting, truss, rigging and related barricades and décor per SPECIFICATION-1. Bidders should have event-production capability, access to required gear, and comply with UFH SCM policies; registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and a valid tax clearance are mandatory.

Requirements

• Compulsory CSD registration
• Submission of Original Tax Clearance Certificate
• Detailed, itemized quotation and pricing schedule
• Compliance with UFH SCM policy and bid documentation (SBD forms, non-disclosure, etc.)
• Preference points: 80/20 (or 90/10 if above threshold) with specific goals (e.g., youth) and BBBEE proof if claimed
• Declaration of interest and past SCM practices (SBD forms 4, 8, 9, etc.)
• No late quotations; acceptance only via official UFH order
