Overview

Procurement of a service provider to supply and deliver foul weather gear (Musto) for the Fisheries Management branch/MLRF of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment. Suitable for PPE/uniform suppliers with Musto-equivalent options, capable of shipping to offshore/weatherproof gear for Fisheries Protection Vessels; bidders must be registered on the CSD and meet tax/B-BBEE and CIDB-related prerequisites.

Requirements

• CSD registration and valid tax clearance; B-BBEE/status verification (SBD 6.1) required.
• Complete and submit standard documents: SBD 1, SBD 3.1 (pricing), SBD 4, SBD 6.1; provide tax clearance and CSD/MA supplier numbers; CK1 entity cert; Letter of Authority; certified director/shareholder IDs.
• Firm, all-inclusive pricing (VAT included); price validity 60 days; delivery within 60 days of Purchase Order.
• Delivery address: Foretrust building, Cape Town. No hand-delivered RFQs; submissions by email only.
• Specific goals (e.g., race, gender, youth, disability) may yield preference points under PPPFA; provide documented proof.
• On award, bidder must be registered on MLRF Oracle ERP within 7 days.
• Annexure A specifies PPE items; must provide clear pictures and comply with Musto/alternatives; samples arranged with successful bidder.
