Overview

This tender seeks to appoint a service provider to supply and deliver safety protective clothing as per Annexure A. The work is for the Marine Living Resources Fund (DFFE), with eligibility limited to Western Cape suppliers. Required items include two-piece overalls (oil/chemical spill resistant, navy), steel-toed rubber boots (size 7, black), and an inshore water-resistant sailing jacket (size medium, red). Delivery is expected within 60 days of a purchase order. Evaluation uses the PPPFA 80/20 framework, with 20 points available for specific goals (e.g., black ownership, women ownership, youth, disability, etc.). Local production/content requirements are included (Annexure A).

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and current tax clearance.
• Completion and submission of standard bidding documents: SBD 1, 2, 3.1/3.3, 4, 6.1.
• Proof of, and compliance with, Preferential Points (SBD 6.1) for specific goals (e.g., black ownership, women ownership, youth, disability).
• Evidence of CIDB minimum category/level (as indicated in Annexure A/SCM), and local production/content (100% as specified).
• Valid VAT registration (if applicable) and tax matters in order (including SARS Tax Clearance or equivalent).
• Delivery capability: supply the three specified items per Annexure A and deliver within 60 days of Purchase Order.
• Signing of official contract forms (SBD7.1/7.2/7.3) if awarded.
• All documents must be submitted on official forms, and pricing must be firm and inclusive of VAT.
