Overview

Supply and delivery of two marine platform scales for the Directorate Offshore Resources Research, including installation and training, to be provided by a service provider. Bidders should have Cape Town-based service and support capability and a proven track record delivering motion-compensated marine platform scales to ships/vessels in South Africa, be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), and hold a valid tax clearance.

Key specs to meet (Annexure A): IP67/IP69K water resistance, 30–60 kg weight range, PLATFORM PL5220 500x600mm, M2200 indicators, roller option, wall mount, mains power, 4-year warranty, and delivery/installation in Cape Town (rfq0001275.26.27_marineplatformscales.pdf).

Requirements

• Cape Town-based service/support capability with prior motion‑compensated marine platform scale deployments (SA).
• Evidence of supplying motion-compensated marine platform scales to ships/vessels in SA.
• Registered on CSD; valid tax clearance; complete SBD documents as required (SBD1, SBD2, SBD3.1/3.3, SBD4, SBD6.1).
• Detailed product specifications and conformance to Annexure A, including IP67/IP69K, 4-year warranty, 30–60 kg capacity, PL5220 platform, M2200 indicators, installation and training.
• Delivery within 60 days of Purchase Order; Cape Town delivery/installation (Annexure A).

• Additional: Bid validity 60 days; bid documents provided with the RFQ; confirm compliance with GCC/SCC as applicable.
