Overview

Statistics South Africa invites quotations for masks, aprons and gloves (PPE) for delivery to 1 Koch Street, Salvokop, Pretoria. Suitable bidders are PPE suppliers/manufacturers/distributors capable of meeting spec and delivery timelines and familiar with South African procurement rules.

Requirements

• Preference points: 80/20 system (Price 80; Specific Goal(s) 20) for RFQs up to R50 000 000.
• Specific goals and points: Black 10; Woman 5; Youth 3; Disability 2.
• To claim specific-goal points: provide proof as guided in 3.2.3 (race, gender, disability, youth) with supporting documents:
  • Black/Youth/Women: certified ID and certified company registration, plus CSD full detail report.
  • Disability: HPCSA medical certificate.
• Documentation validity: CIPC and ID documents with a certification stamp older than 6 months will be invalid.
• Company declarations: complete company details (name, registration number, type) and sign the declaration confirming truthfulness and compliance.
• Special condition: NB – do not copy anyone when sending quotes; this will disqualify your proposal.
