Overview

This tender seeks to appoint a contractor for resealing of roads in Jeffreys Bay and Paradise Beach, and rehabilitation of Da Gama Road and St Francis Street in Jeffreys Bay, Kouga Local Municipal Area. Suitable bidders are capable, CIDB 7CE or higher contractors in good standing, with audited financial statements for the last 3 years, tax compliance, and capacity to meet the 80/20 (or 90/10 per erratum) evaluation criteria and specific goals.

Requirements

• CIDB Grading: 7CE or higher; proof of registration and good standing with CIDB
• Audited financial statements for the last 3 financial years
• Tax Compliance Status PIN
• Registration on Kouga Municipality Supplier Database
• Central Supplier Database (National Treasury) summary
• Minimum functional assessment score: 70%
• Additional vetting of bidder capacity (as per Municipality)
• Ability to meet the 80/20 (or 90/10 per Erratum) evaluation criteria with proof of specific goals
• Council may appoint more than one contractor; not necessarily the lowest tender
• Tender validity: 90 days from closing date
