Overview

Procurement of medical surveillance services for Magalies Water’s water treatment plants for 3 years (Area West & Far West). Bidders should have occupational health capabilities, including an HPCSA-registered Occupational Medical Practitioner, COIDA good standing, POPIA consent, and eligibility via the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) or SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN. The contract covers occupational health assessments, audiometry, vaccinations, on-site monitoring, and reporting in line with OHSA and related legislation.

Requirements

• CSD registration or SARS TCS PIN; tax clearance; not in the State security service.
• Mandatory qualifications: Occupational Medical Practitioner registered with HPCSA; COIDA good standing; Certificate of Competency for Industrial Audiometry and Hearing Assessment; E-Natis certificate for a mobile clinic; POPIA consent.
• Documentation: 3 client references; Price Proposal/Schedule; official bidding forms (SBDs) and Form of Offer/Acceptance; valid SARS PIN or CSD number.
• Technical/operational: OHSA and environmental compliance (waste management); on-site monitoring; equipment calibration; service hours 7h30–15h30; 40-year medical records retention; Public liability insurance (R5m).
• Evaluation: mandatory briefing; minimum 70 points for functionality; SLA and supplier performance management; potential site visits; preference for compliant, capable bidders.
