Overview

This RFQ seeks a service provider for reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, supply, delivery and installation of new HVAC equipment for a period of 3 years. Bidders should have HVAC maintenance/installation capability, including certified refrigeration technicians with F‑Gas registration, and meet SAAO/NRF requirements (CIDB, COIDA, tax compliance, and B-BBEE). The contract favors Samsung/Daikin brands where possible and requires e-submission via the ETender portal, with a non-compulsory briefing on 15 July 2026.

Requirements

• Technical qualifications: qualified refrigeration technicians with Trade Certificates; F‑Gas registration; SAQCC Gas registration for lead personnel; proof of Alliance system installer status; technicians’ CVs and relevant HVAC certificates.
• Corporate/compliance: CIDB 1 ME or higher; valid COIDA; tax compliance status; VAT registration; CSD registration; at least 5 years of HVAC maintenance/installation experience; three client reference letters (not older than 5 years).
• Documentation and safety: proof of Public Liability cover (min R500,000); site-specific health and safety file, SSOs, MSDS; PPE and branded staff identification; adherence to SAAO safety and site procedures; completion and sign-off of required documentation (COCs, work reports).
• Technical/operational: 24/7 response capability; on-site technician within 24 hours for faults; 12-month defects liability; adherence to SABS standards; parts procurement rules (new/refurbished with warranty); brand standardization (Samsung/Daikin preferred).
