Overview

Supply, delivery, and installation of curtains in all University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) owned residences. Targeted at experienced curtain suppliers/interior fit-out contractors with BBBEE capability; procurement uses an 80/20 price/BBBEE weighting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying, delivering and installing curtains for residential facilities (preferably student residences).
• Compliance with UKZN’s BBBEE policy (80/20 evaluation split) and related documentation.
• Ability to attend the compulsory briefing and submit all bid returnables as required in the bid documents.
• Access to bid documents only after proof of payment of R1000 (non-refundable); documents to be completed in English.
• General tender terms: University may accept whole or part of any bid; no guarantee of lowest bid; if not contacted within 120 working days, tender is unsuccessful.

• Briefing: 29 September 2026 at 10:00, S-Block Residence, Westville Campus. Compulsory.
• Bid documents: available online 21–28 September 2026 after proof of payment of R1000; payment details include Standard Bank Westville, ref 3500 RFB UKZN 09/25RRR; documents emailed to KhuzwayoJ@ukzn.ac.za.
• Submission method: No emailed, hard copy, facsimile, or late bids will be accepted. Use the approved electronic/portal process as instructed in the bid documents.
