Overview

Procurement of pest-control services for treatment of infestation at the Architecture Library, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Howard College Campus. Open to service providers with pest-control expertise applicable to libraries/academic facilities, and BBBEE compliance (80/20).

Requirements

• Compulsory briefing session (28 July 2026 @14:00, Howard College, EGM Library Boardroom, Gate 3) (Advert RFB UKZN 16 26.pdf).
• Bids submitted electronically only; no hard copies or faxes accepted.
• Document availability 20–27 July 2026; RFB documents issued on payment of a non-refundable R500 fee (payment details provided) (Advert RFB UKZN 16 26.pdf).
• Include the applicable RFB number, project name, company name, closing date/time on the submission.
• Submissions to be sent to RFSProcurement@ukzn.ac.za with the subject containing the RFB number and project name.
• BBBEE: Price and BBBEE 80/20; UKZN Procurement policy applies.
• No communication within 120 working days after closing date is considered unsuccessful.

How to Apply

• Obtain RFB documents by paying R500 to Standard Bank Westville, account 053080998, reference 2068- RFB-UKZN 16/26, and email proof to Nomfundo Zaca at RFSProcurement@ukzn.ac.za (Advert RFB UKZN 16 26.pdf).
• Document availability is 20–27 July 2026 (Advert RFB UKZN 16 26.pdf).
• Attend the compulsory briefing: 28 July 2026 @14:00 at the Howard College Library EGM Boardroom (Advert RFB UKZN 16 26.pdf).
• Submit quotes electronically by 11 August 2026 @12:00 to RFSProcurement@ukzn.ac.za; include RFB number, project name, and company details.
