Overview

The University of KwaZulu-Natal invites bids for a virtual environment and storage solution for the Howard College Data Centre. Bidders with IT infrastructure, virtualization and storage implementation experience, and BBBEE policy compliance are encouraged; this is a services procurement.

Requirements

• Proven capability to design and implement virtualized environments and data-centre storage solutions.
• Submit bids electronically to Centralprocurement@ukzn.ac.za with bid number and project name in the subject line.
• BBBEE compliance as per UKZN procurement policy; provide BBBEE status in the bid.
• Access bid documents by payment of R1000 (non-refundable); proof of payment emailed to DlaminiK1@ukzn.ac.za; banking details included in the doc.
• Returnables: Compulsory bid returnables as specified in the bid document (CAM158031 BID VIRTUAL ENVIRON.pdf).
• No hard copy submissions; no late bids; UKZN reserves the right to accept any portion of a bid.
