Overview

The iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority invites bids for the appointment of a service provider to design, supply, deliver, install and commission various electrical works and infrastructure in the Park. Eligible bidders are CIDB contractors with a combined grade of at least 4EP,5EB and 5ME (or joint ventures where each member is CIDB-registered and the lead partner meets the grade, with a combined rating equal to or higher than the tender value). Compulsory briefing and site inspection are required; full tender documents are issued after briefing.

Requirements

• CIDB pre-qualification: combined grade of at least 4EP,5EB and 5ME (or approved JV with lead partner meeting the grade and combined rating meeting the tender value).
• Compulsory briefing session attendance.
• All returnable forms, SBDs and supporting annexures fully completed, signed and witnessed in black ink.
• Site inspection attendance mandatory.
• Evaluation: functionality (minimum 75 points) plus price and PPPFA preferences; procurement per Supply Chain Policy.
• Clear query process: requests for clarification via bids@isimangaliso.com, with clarifications allowed up to five working days before closing.
• Tender validity: 120 days.

• After the meeting, obtain the full tender documents (issued after briefing).
• Prepare submissions with all returnable forms, SBDs, and annexures completed in black ink; ensure CIDB requirements are met.
• Submit strictly on the issued tender documents by the deadline: 2026-10-09 12:00; late tenders, or submissions by other means, will not be accepted.
