Overview

RFQ for the HIRING OF TWO INSULATED OFFICE CONTAINERS WITH AIR CONDITIONING at uShaka Marine World. This call is open to service providers registered on the Central Supplier Database and eThekwini Supplier Portal, who can deliver, install and remove two ~6m insulated containers with AC for the December 2026/January 2027 peak period (ld898.pdf).

Requirements

• Registration: on Central Supplier Database (CSD) and eThekwini Supplier Portal.
• Tax compliance: latest SARS tax clearance or PIN, TCS status, and, if applicable, CSD number (ld898.pdf).
• Bidding documentation: fully completed MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9 on company letterhead.
• Preference points: PPPFA 80/20 (price 80; specific goals 20); ability to claim specific goals (e.g., race: Black) per Regulations 2022 (ld898.pdf).
• Compliance and safety: Electrical CoC for each container; complete internal electrical installation; coordination with Ushaka’s on-site electricians for park supply.
• Technical scope: two containers with required shells, doors, windows, blinds, split AC, distribution board and lighting as specified; safe, functional for the hire period.
• Delivery/maintenance: delivery 11 Dec 2026; collection 12 Jan 2027; include fault reporting and prompt repair commitment; cover transport/delivery costs (ld898.pdf).
• Post-award: MBD7 contract form to be signed if awarded (see MBD forms).
