Overview

RFQ for appointment of a service provider to procure specialised, research and monitoring PPE for iSimangaliso Wetland Park. The bid targets experienced PPE suppliers (including local KwaZulu-Natal providers) to supply fieldwear and related equipment for research/monitoring activities (re-advertised). Requirements

• Demonstrated PPE supply/delivery experience with traceable proof (appointment letters and completed orders, GRNs).
• Qualified personnel with relevant experience; evaluation includes 4+ years/3–4 years/2 years/1 year points.
• Compliance documents: Central Supplier Database Full Report, SARS Tax PIN or Tax Compliance Status, and a valid Service Fee/Quotation.
• Preference-driven goals evidenced: Local service provider status (Umkhanyakude or uMfolozi), at least 51% Black ownership, 51% women ownership, 51% youth ownership, 51% ownership by people with disabilities; proof required for each as applicable.
• Environmental and governance disclosures: environmental record, proof of capacity to comply with environmental rules, and related certifications.
• Completion of mandatory SBD forms and a pro forma Service Providers Agreement (with all sections/pages initialled and signed).

• Registrations: Tax compliance status (PIN/CSD number); CSD full report; where applicable, separate TCS certificates for consortia/joint ventures.
