Overview

RFQ to appoint a service provider for procurement of specialised, research and monitoring PPE for iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Bidders should be experienced suppliers of PPE and field gear, with capability in supplying items such as cargo trousers, jackets, parkas, boots, shirts, hats, gloves, wetsuits, snorkelling gear and related accessories, for field research and monitoring activities.

Requirements

• Functional criteria: (i) proof of PPE-related appointment letters or purchase orders with client contact details; (ii) Project Manager with 4+ years’ relevant experience; (iii) clear company profile. (Total 100 points)
• Specific goals (ownership and local presence): at least 51% Black ownership, 51% Women ownership, 51% Youth ownership, 51% People living with disabilities, local service provider in uMkhanyakude/uMfolozi; 51% ownership by locals. Points allocated per system. (Table in the RFQ)
• Disqualification for: missing mandatory documents, failing tax/compliance checks (CSD and SARS Tax Pin), state employment, collusion, ambiguous service fees, or missing project technician qualifications. Certifications not older than 6 months.
• Documents to submit: Proof of specific goals, CSD full report, SARS tax PIN, the Service Fee/Quotation, pro forma Service Providers Agreement (with all sections completed), all SBD forms; English bid documents. (RE-ADVERT RFQ ...)
