Overview

Procurement of Accredited Training Services to Landcare Contractors for iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority. The RFQ seeks a panel of service providers accredited to deliver unit-standard based training (one unit standard per bid) to Landcare Contractors, with courses such as First Aid Level 1, Fire Awareness, Plant Identification, Herbicide Applicator, Snakes Awareness, Pest Control Operator, and Forestry Map Reading. Bidders must be able to deliver accredited training, design content, and manage on-site delivery per the attached Terms of Reference.

Requirements

• Accreditation with SETA or QCTO; extensive experience with unit standards and National Qualifications Framework.
• A trained team: qualified facilitator, moderator, and assessor (SAQA accreditation) with CVs and qualifications provided.
• Ability to design a complete training program with methodology, assessments, outcomes, and reports; capacity to deliver to large groups.
• Knowledge of iSimangaliso, Working for Water/Wetlands, and DFFE programmes; local venues and logistics planning.
• Administrative readiness: CSD Full Report, Proof of company registration, SARS Tax PIN, proof of specific goals, pro forma Service Agreement, and completed SBDs.
• Evaluation uses a 100-point system (70% minimum for functionality); specific-goals and price contribute via 80/20 or 90/10 weighting.
• Disqualification risks include missing mandatory documents, non-compliance with tax/CSD requirements, or conflicts of interest.
