RFQ: APPOINTMENT OF THE SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE INDEPENDENT OPINION ON THE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PROPERTY

RFQ to appoint a service provider to provide an independent professional opinion on the disposal of surplus immovable property for iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority, including asset valuation, viability assessment, and disposal options. The service covers assessment, valuation, and recommendations on whether identified properties should be surplus, retention viability, and the most appropriate disposal mechanism (e.g., sale, lease, transfer). Qualifications focus on property valuation/real estate and public-sector asset management expertise, with SAQA/SACPVP registration for the project manager, and a project team with minimum experience in property asset management or related fields. Proposals must address PFMA, GIAMA, Treasury regulations, and SCM requirements, and include CVs, certifications, and proof of active SACPVP registration. Reports remain the property of iSimangaliso. The process uses a fixed ceiling for cost and a 70-point functionality threshold prior to price-based evaluation.
