Overview

The procurement is for the supply and delivery of electrical kitchen appliances to Great Kei Local Municipality. Bidders should be capable suppliers of electrical kitchen appliances, with CIDB grading as required, and must meet tax, municipal, and procurement-document requirements (CSD registration, Tax Status PIN, VAT, and completion of mandatory MBD forms).

Requirements

• CIDB grading level and category required.
• Tax compliance: Tax Status PIN (MBD 2) and SARS compliance; original PIN to be submitted.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; valid CSD number.
• Billing clearance certificate from local municipality.
• Certified copies of identity documents for directors; documentation supporting 51% black ownership where applicable.
• Complete and sign MBD forms: MBD 2, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 16; plus MBD 7.1 (Contract Form) for Goods.
• 80/20 PPPFA preference framework: price (80) and specific goals (20); evidence of 51% black ownership as required.
• Submission in sealed envelope by the stated closing date; adherence to SCM policies and anti-corruption declarations.

• Submission method: Sealed tender box at Great Kei Municipality, Budget and Treasury Office, 17 Main Street, Qumrha; hours 08:00–16:00; no post/fax submissions.
• Documents to submit: Completed tender document with all MBD forms, Tax PIN, Billing Clearance, CSD registration, certified IDs, Authority to Sign, and any other documents specified in the tender pack (see attached file).
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB level/category; tax clearance; registration on CSD; and compliance with PPPFA.
