Overview

RFQ for the supply, delivery and offloading of office chairs, microwaves and fridges to Lephalale Local Municipality. Bidders should be capable suppliers of office furniture and electrical appliances, with mandatory CSD registration, tax compliance, and eligibility under the municipality’s preferential procurement criteria (SMME/locality).

Requirements

• Register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide mandatory information; if not registered, mandatory data may not be submitted.
• Submit only on official forms (MBD 1, MBD 6.1, MBD 3.1) and ensure bids are properly sealed/endorsed; delivered by closing.
• Tax compliance: provide Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or PIN; if unavailable, provide CSD number; each JV party must supply separate TCS/PIN/CSD.
• Locality/SMME preference: supply proof to claim points (municipal rates or residence proof) and CSD confirmation of turnover/black ownership for EME/QSE when claiming SMME status.
• Attach proof of municipal rates/taxes not older than 3 months; include lease/tribal authority proofs where applicable.
• Include JV agreements if applicable; ensure all parties meet CSD/rates requirements.
• Delivery and payment: deliveries quoted ex-stock must be within five working days; payments are made within 30 days of invoice; comply with GCC and PPR 2022; brand names must be in Annexure G.
• Candidates must comply with the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 and related Council policy.
