Overview

Procurement of dried farm yard manure for the Malawi Prison Service; open to Malawi-registered agricultural input suppliers with trading licence, annual tax clearance, MRA VAT registration, and PPDA (ODPP) registration. Bids will be evaluated on price for the Schedule of Requirements, with delivery within Malawi and a lowest-price award, subject to the Government of Malawi general terms.

Requirements

• Quotation validity: 60 days from receipt.
• Delivery period: 7 days from date of order.
• Warranty: 12 months.
• Pricing basis: EXW (within Malawi) or CIP (outside Malawi) as applicable.
• Sealed quotations, marked with Procurement Number RFQ-PRIS-FARM-2026-2027/29; submitted to the IPC Chairman, Prison Headquarters, Box A 28, Zomba.
• Complete and return Sections B and C; quote against Section C items (RFQ document refers to Schedule of Requirements, Section C).
• Attachments required with Section B: trading licence; annual tax clearance certificate; MRA VAT registration certificate; PPDA (ODPP) registration certificate; list of recent government contracts; any other documents requested by the Procuring Entity.
• Award: lowest priced responsive/qualified quotation per item or total; via Local Purchase Order.
• Governing terms: Government of Malawi General Conditions of Contract for Local Purchase Orders.
