Overview

RFQ for farm tools and implements (and related gadgets) to support Malawi Prison Service farm operations. Bidders should be suppliers of agricultural equipment with relevant licenses and government procurement compliance.

Requirements

• Delivery terms: EXW (Malawi) or CIP (outside Malawi) to delivery points; delivery period 7 days from order date.
• Quotation validity: 60 days from receipt.
• Warranty: 12 months.
• Quotation must be in sealed envelopes and clearly show the Procurement Number.
• Documents to submit (Section B/C): trading licence, annual tax clearance, MRA VAT registration, PPDA (ODPP) registration, and a list of recent government contracts.
• Pricing: quote delivered prices for items listed in the Schedule of Requirements (Section C).
• Award: lowest priced quotation by item or total, subject to contract terms.

Notes on the Schedule of Requirements (goods to price): Sprayers (20 litres, knapsack), Heavy-duty tarpaulin, Garmin GPS 78s, Water pump, fuel tank components; includes specified technical features and quantities.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 2026-10-14 10:00 (see RFQ-FARM TOOLS, IMPLEMENTS AND GADGES for details; the attached document also shows 02/10/2026 as a date).
• Submission method: sealed envelopes; return to IPC Chairman, Prison Headquarters, Box 28, Zomba.
• Required documents: Completed Section B and Section C; trading licence; annual tax clearance; VAT registration; PPDA (ODPP) registration; list of recent government contracts; any other documents requested in the RFQ.
• Pre-qualification/registrations: ensure all listed registrations and certificates are current.
